Through my various experiences as a student I have studied various marketing strategies, game design philosophies, and industry tools. I have extensive practice with Unreal, Unity, and Jira from and have replicated many different in-game mechanics. Through industry work experience I have also acquired proficiency in Jira, Favro and Steamworks. Via my CS minor I have worked in various languages such as C variations, Java, and Python.

While building my portfolio I was thinking of adding a section where one of my favorite gifs/discord pfp would chase around a ball that would continuously bump around the screen. Unfortunately after prototyping and implementing it felt a bit too noisy. So it remained in prototype limbo. Someday I will do spacedog justice...
A quick project created out of curiosity for Swift, and Xcode for Apple App Development using MacInCloud. While riffing on simple game ideas over the course of this project I ended up landing on one based around completely randomized movement putting the player in a position where they effectively needed to continually "dice roll" to avoid hazards and pursue objectives. This made for some really fun moments but overall felt like the player lacked enough agency and the game lacked any super meaningful depth.
This project taught me the use of Swift, Xcode, and third party integration.
